KOLO is a community-driven initiative created by three Ukrainian friends united by a common goal: to bring people together through electronic music and stand in solidarity with Ukraine’s ongoing fight for freedom and sovereignty.

We come from different regions — Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Luhansk — and each of us still has family back home. As the war continues, we’re committed to leveraging our connections and platforms to support those on the front lines and those affected by the ongoing crisis.

KOLO is more than a party — it’s a space to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and stand in solidarity with our loved ones in Ukraine. We believe in the power of community — and how a shared love for music and art can unite us, support those facing brutal injustice, and help bring us closer to collective justice.

Join our kolo — Ukrainian for “circle” — on May 30 at Mood Ring.

This is a free RSVP event, but we kindly request a $10+ presale donation or $15 at the door. Skint is thrilled to welcome Buckley (UK) to Mood Ring for the launch of our new party series. Featuring support from local selectors Eva Loveless and Still, expect a night of low-end frequencies fresh from the UK underground.

“Inspired by the sounds of the early 2000s with a forward-thinking flourish” - Buckley is a Manchester-based DJ and producer with an eclectic taste that touches right on the sweet spot between dark garage, dubstep & percussion-driven bass music. In a couple of short years his discography has mounted to include releases on the likes of SPE:C, ATW and ec2a. A sound that Resident Advisor described as “early 00s throwback garage done right,” referring to his Gloam EP on Well Street which dropped last year. As well as putting out 4 releases in the past year, Buckley delighted crowds at events such as Boiler Room and Outlook Origins, to name just a few.

2025 sees Buckley dive into a deeper and more percussive sound, with a number of releases due out on some of today’s most hottest labels.

Sharing a name with a beloved 2010s Dublin club night, Skint is a tribute to the essentials: cheap entry, deep basslines, and dancing like rent’s due.

Cadencia (cadence) means rhythm—it’s about that flow that keeps people moving. This night is all about fast, percussive, bass-driven sounds: jungle, UKG, juke, and Latin club. It’s emotional and high-energy, meant to lift people up and move bodies on the dancefloor.

But there’s also a touch of decadencia (decadence) it’s not just rhythm, it’s also raw and intense. It’s a release. A little wild. A little sweaty. That perfect mix of feeling and some chaos.

Kamikaze @kamikazesoundsystem is a Bogotá-born, NYC-based DJ and curator spinning high-energy sets rooted in Latin club, jungle, ghetto house, and global bass. Known for her rhythmic precision and bold selections, she’s the force behind Kamikaze Soundsystem and party series like Cadencia and Junglist Tapes. Her sets are raw, percussive, and built for movement—connecting dance floors across borders and genres.

Dmore @dmorex3 is a Puerto Rican DJ from the Bronx who found her way to the decks later in life, honoring the legacy of her late husband, Danny Wepaman—a pioneer of NYC’s Latin house scene. Guided by love, rooted in legacy, and inspired by her son, DJ Holiday, Dmore plays with heart, soul, and intention. Now almost 60, she’s sharing the lineup with her son, proving it’s never too late to take up space, find joy, and build community through sound.

DJ Holiday @3ye.djholiday is a Bronx-born DJ moving through house, techno, Jersey club, breakbeat, and DnB—always ready to throw a curveball. Known for flipping expectations mid-set, Holiday keeps dance floors guessing and moving.

Papi Weli @papiweli is a DJ from Minas Gerais, Brazil, blending Baile Funk, UK Garage, and Footwork into high-energy sets built for dance floors. With over a decade of experience, he knows how to move a crowd—whether it’s a sweaty club night or a dive bar, he always brings his Brazilian fire.

Come celebrate the official after party for the release of the new book Raingsey in collaboration with Bong.

Raingsey is the first self-published book by photographer Guarionex Rodriguez, Jr. and designer Malisa Meas Kuch. Raingsey, meaning “ray of light” in Khmer, captures the spirit of Cambodian youth through portraiture and landscape.

BONG is opening up their first permanent space offering Cambodian food in New York City. It’s the culmination of an eight year project building community through shared curiosity, friendship, and obviously, Khmer food.

This collaboration holds a marker that interweaves art, food and music celebrating the Cambodian community. We bring together our favorite DJs for this celebration and to celebrate it at our favorite club, Mood Ring.

Pluralist (@_pluralist_):  Making his US debut, the Bristol-based producer and DJ has released on bass heavy labels like TraTraTrax, Pressure Dome and Club Djembe. His sets are a masterclass in percussive, syncopated techno with deep UK influences.

Sobolik (@e_sobolik): They have been a staple in the global western underground with their releases on 3024, Kindergarten, and Woozy, and co-heading UK label All Centre. Their music is known for its kinetic energy, intricate rhythms, and a fusion of styles that defy easy categorization.
